Seminars | Offered Courses
Seminars in the field of law and economics or business information systems are compulsory modules (6 CP) in the bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration/Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems. In the degree programmes Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management or Logistics and Supply Chain Management it is mandatory to complete the Master Seminar in the Core Curriculum.
The department offers various bachelor's and master's seminars in the winter and summer semesters. The number of spots depends on the seminar and is limited overall. Therefore, the Office for Student Affairs coordinates the coordination of supply and demand with an allocation process (allocation of seminar spots).
The allocation of seminar spots by the Office for Student Affairs starts at the same time as the publication of the course catalogue (01 Sept. or 01 March). The seminars offered for the respective semester are published as a PDF in the respective Moodle courses “Information on Studies” as well as in TUCaN at the courses “Seminar Allocation Bachelor” or “Seminar Allocation Master”. A presentation containing important information and instructions is published as a PDF under on the website. Downloads and Links
Bachelor's and master's students register for the seminar allocation tool via TUCaN. Here you can request your seminars and assign priorities. The above mentioned presentation with instructions should be viewed beforehand. After the allocation phase is complete, you will receive a system message in TUCaN about your allocated spot.
After the allocation process, there are usually still open spots remaining for some seminars. These are allocated directly by the research groups (allocation of remaining spots).
