At the Department of Law and Economics, we deal with a wide range of topics in the area of gender equality, for example increasing the proportion of women among students and professors, reconciling work and family life or reducing unconscious bias.

Gender Equality Officers

We Gender Equality Officers are elected employees of the Department of Law and Economics and support the implementation of the equal opportunities strategy of TU Darmstadt on a voluntary basis. We provide subject-specific impulses through our own projects and campaigns.

As Gender Equality Officers, we are the point of contact for all status groups in our department, such as students, academic and administrative/technical staff and professors in the Department of Law and Economics.

We are in close contact with the central Gender Equality Office. Equality concerns us all! That's how we see it at our department. In addition to us, many committed employees and students of the department are actively involved in the topic of equality, for example in the Gender Equality Commitee in the working group for the Gender Equality Action Plan or on an ad hoc basis.
