What do we do?

The student council represents the interests of the students on the department level. It represents your interests in the departmental council, in numerous committees and boards, as well as towards the professors.

In general, we are there to help you with questions about your studies, Darmstadt, institutions and anything else you can think of. During the semester, we meet once a week on Tuesday at 7 PM for a session (in which you can also participate) and provide exams and exam protocols.

Once a year, the student members of the Departmental Council (FBR) and the Student Representatives (FSR) are elected. In addition to the nine students in the FSR, all other active student representatives are also involved in the decision-making process and work just as much as the officially elected members.

The departmental council is the highest committee of the department. It consists of professors, staff and students. All important decisions are made here on the departmental level.

We are also active across departments, for example in the Student Council Conference (FSK) at the TU Darmstadt.
