Logistics and Supply Chain Management

In the upcoming winter semester 2020/21 a new English-language Master’s programme will start at our department. It is research oriented and aims primarily at graduates of bachelor's degree programs in economics who wish to focus on logistics and supply chain management.

In economics and administration as well as science, highly qualified specialists are needed who ensure the coordination of logistical (sub)systems through comprehensive systems thinking. Therefore, the course of study is supposed to enable graduates to take on independent and responsible work in business and administration. Possible fields of profession can be found both with logistics service providers and with industrial and commercial companies as well as management consultancies and associations. Subsequent activities and work areas can be logistics planning, logistics controlling, supplier management, inventory management, production planning and control, model-based optimization as well as project and process management
