Service offerings

To make your studies easier for you, we as the FB1 student council offer you various services.

A few years ago, the student council campaigned for the students in our department to have their own learning center. This is room 214 in building S1 | 03, which is also connected to the student council office. Around 60 workplaces are available here for group and individual work.

The student council runs its own Discord-Server where you can network with your fellow students. You can also exchange information about the modules of the department and find the current protocols of the student council meeting.

In our learning center, there is also a reference library with business dictionaries and many standard works on law and economics. But also literature needed for the technical part of our studies can be found here.

Just take a look at the glass showcase in the learning center! All books are indexed through the library system.

To make it easier for you to get started with everyday university life, we always organize the orientation week for the winter semester.

A math pre-course is offered to new students each year prior to orientation week to bring all students up to the same level. For more information click here.

We offer a growing collection of protocols for oral and written exams. Both can be looked at and copied during our office hours.

In order to keep our archive of exam protocols up to date, we need your support!

You can submit memory protocols as well as complete copies of your exams either in person at the student council room or it us at. Then, we make these available to the other students.

Also good to know: As a reward for your commitment, you will receive a free drink from us!

After your exam, just take a little time and write down all the questions you have been asked.

We also have a protocol template for you to use: template (opens in new tab)

Exam protocols can be borrowed for copying during the student council's office hours.

The office hours take place Monday to Friday between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m.

If you have any questions related to your technical field, it is best to come by on a day when representatives of your field are present during the office hours.
But of course, you are also welcome to come by on any other day!

During the semester break we are only available on Wednesdays from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Thank you for your understanding!
